Koslanda - කොස්ලන්ද

Koslanda in Province of Uva is a town located in Sri Lanka about 81 mi (or 131 km) east of Colombo, the country's capital town. There are several Unesco world heritage sites nearby. The closest heritage site in Sri Lanka is Sinharaja Forest Reserve in a distance of 42 mi (or 68 km), South-West. Koslanda at 700 meters elevation has a climate that is never too hot and never too cold, but just right. In British times, tea and rubber estates came up in the Koslanda region, along with good roads, a fine district hospital, and other government facilities. Today Koslanda enjoys the same amenities including its mild climate and beautiful environment.
